Taylor-Swift

Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. She was born the 13th of December, 1989 in Pennsylvania's West Reading. Swift has been a pop/country singer-songwriter for more than 20 years. The stories she tells of her young love and heartbreak has earned her the acclaim of many in the 21st Century. Swift began showing an enthusiasm for the industry of music from a very young age. The trajectory of her career was rapid beyond the roles of children's entertainers and her first public appearance in crowds of people. In 2011, Swift then 11, sang The Star-Spangled Banner during a Philadelphia 76ers' basketball match. In the year following, she began to write her own music. Swift created original music inspired by the country music of performers like Shania Twain (now known as the Chicks) as well as Dixie Chicks. Her material was a reflection of Swift's experiences as a tween and the feeling of alienation. At the age of 13, Swift's parents sold their farm in Pennsylvania to move into Hendersonville Tennessee so she could spend more time in courting the country music labels within the vicinity of Nashville.
